I hope the party will turn out to be fun since I have planned it few months back.Yup, I am a typical "planning" person. :-)

She Is Happily...

riding on her 1st ride-on given by Brendon/Brenda. After a day of trial, she knows how to move her leg front and back by herself now. Maybe she is able to link the leg movement is the same as if sitting in a walker.

She will roam around the house, from living room to kitchen to look for Poh Poh or to Kau Foo's room.

Just this evening, she started to know how to get out from the ride-on. She still need help to hold on (to balance herself), stand up and lift the leg up before she cross over to the other side.

Although the string tie to the phone is too short for her, somehow she knows she needs to bend her body slightly in order to "listen" to the phone! :-) Right now, I am teaching her how to "hang up" the phone when we say bye bye.

Oh ya, when we said 'pon pon', she will press the honk. Sometimes, she will stop for a while, lean forward and move the wiper!! So cute to see her doing that.


See, can even do this "See mummy, only 1 hand!" act!!!

Finally She Talks...

To certain extend, I think Ern "inherits" the liking towards animals, especially dog from hubby. Ern has never show any sign of fear whenever she sees dog.

During the last playgroup, Ern gets excited when she sees Simba, the Golden Retriever at Charlotte's house. Before we left home, Hin Lerk's Ah Mah carried Ern while I went back to the house to take my bag. When I meet them back, Hin Lerk's Ah Mah told me Ern knows how to say the word 'dog'. At the moment, I thought it was just coincidence. After that, I didn't pay much attention to get Ern to speak the word again since we always addressed our dog as Thor Thor. Nothing happened until 2 days after.

It happened on Tuesday evening at Poh Poh's house. I was carried Ern when Brenda Che Che entered into the house as her 'daily routine' visit. Other than giving Brenda a big grin, Ern surprised by saying the word cheh cheh' by looking at Brenda's direction!! I was thrilled to hear that even the words is not related to any of the family members.

Hooray, another milestone for Ern! Hopefully, we can get Ern to 'speak out' more. Lil Princess very 'action' (arrogant in Hokkien), only speak when she is in good mood. LOL

To Charlotte's Mummy - Thanks to your Simba. Only we get to know Ern can say her first word - 'dog'!!

To Hin Lerk's Mummy & Ah Mah - Thanks for telling me. Otherwise, I will still think Ern speaks in her baby language!

High Chair

No matter the high chair is the traditional rattan type or modern with good safety features type, Ern can only sit properly for < 10 mins. After then, she will raise one of her leg up and turn her body side way like the photo above. Not long after that, you can see she is trying to ‘climb up’ although she has not master the ‘skill’. Oh ya, this incident happen no matter we are at home or dine outside. SAME!

Obviously she is bored. So, these are the things we do to keep her busy hoping she can sit longer.

1) Feed her biscuit
2) Give her some of our food like plain bread/rice. Of ya, if Kong Kong is around, sure she gets to taste some ice-cream.
3) Give her something to play.
4) Self feeding

Ern has not really master self feeding properly. Sometimes, she will open her hand before the food actually touches her mouth. The food dropped everywhere and we have to pick it. Honestly, self feeding can keep her stay in her high chair the longest.

Manja...

It's getting harder and harder to take good pictures of Ern if I don't have a 'helper'. She will crawl, stand, move right and right, etc, how to take good pictures ler??!! Most of it are 'blur out' pictures.

Even then, the mother still keep on taking photos...hahahaha...

There was this little conversation between me and Ern while I was trying to take her photos few days ago.

Mummy: Ern, look at mummy *getting ready to press the button*
Ern: *Didn't bother to turn to my direction*
Mummy: Ern, look at mummy. *I start to make noice to attract her*
Ern: *Didn't bother at all*
Mummy: Thor Thor, come..come. *Thor Thor is our dog*
Ern: *she turned to my direction but gave me the above pose*
Mummy: *Quickly snap although puzzle why she does it.*

She does it very often and many a times, I reckon this is how she shows her manja to us...so sweet...:-)
