First Family Vacation Trip
Finally, we took the kids for our FIRST ever family vacation - Cameron Highlands!
Kids survived through the journey as they slept 1/2 of the winding journey. Well, I actually 'timed and planned' it that way. Ideally it's for them to sleep all the way during the winding journey but didn't turn out 100%. Ok lah, 50% pun boleh jadi!
We booked a 2-rooms apartment with Equatorial Hotel. Until they renovate the place, I wouldn't recommend the place. It was quite run down. :-( Just right before we turned in to the hotel, we saw a strawberry farm. So we took the kids to experience strawberry plugging. We were taught not to pull the whole stem but pinch the stem halfway.
Ern had so much fun plugging until we bought 3 trays of strawberry. Then, we stopped at the cafe for strawberry ice stick. It taste good, actually!! I love it personally.
We went to one of the steamboat restaurant at Cangkat Cering for dinner. Nothing special, honestly. It's a nice weather to eat steamboat outside of our own house, you know without perspiring kinda meal.
It was very down pour when we had our dinner. So we took our own sweet time to enjoy our meal until the rains stopped. We proceeded to Pasar Malam but it started to drizzle. Only hubb went down to buy supper and snack.
We went back to our apartments. Took a rest before we called it off a night.
The next day, we had our breakfast at the hotel and wanted to stop by Boh Tea Plantation. The rains was playing "hide and seek' with us. When we were about to leave, it started to rain. So we get stranded at the lobby and i started to take silly pictures of the kids. I especially like this picture as it so naturally. Priceless!
After a good 1hr, we went back to the apartment, packed and checked out. It was still drizzling and we decided to drop Boh Tea visit. Instead, we wanted to take the kids for Chocolate Factory along the journey, at least it's indoor and hopping kids get to see how chocolate was made. Manatau, the production is on break when we were there. :-( Well, we still came back with few packets of strawberry chocolate..
We detour to Ipoh for famous Ngah Choi Hor Fun before heading home.
Short 2D1N trip, but kids love it every pieces.
Right After The Nap...
Right after Ern woke up from the afternoon nap after the party, I let the kids cycle and run in the porch.
Pity the kids, I tell you. When I was a little girl, I used to cycle around my whole taman, without my parents watching after me! But now, I can't do that anymore with my kids in view of the safety. :-(
Well, well, I told myself, at least they still get to cycle.
Next task is to train Sean to paddle and off we can go to Beach St on every Sunday to cycle!

Final Part - Cake
After completed all the craft, we proceed for simple lunch (pasta & sandwiches) before the cake cutting.
This was the cake Ern requested when we took her to order. I requested the cake house to add the miniature kitty on top of this and I think it was a complimentary.
It was our all time favourite cake - chocolate brownie!
After then, the kids still played on their own while the mothers were at another corner to catch up with each other.
Small party, big fun and all happy!

Part 4: Craft Session Begins
** For the privacy of each child, I decided not to post up the kids' photos **
I purposely made the group small so that I can take charge in managing the kids. So, I have 6 girls to manage, with 2 mothers to help out and 1 mother to help snap picture.
Craft # 1: Party Hat
It was made of paper plate by cutting several triangle in the middle and stick some love shapes color foam on it.
Craft # 2: Lollipop stuff with cotton
2 kitty faces, printable from the web. Stuffed them with cotton in between and stapler them.
Craft # 3: Kitty Hand Bag
Paper plate but into 1, stapler the side and decode the bag by sticking kitty print outs. Finally, put up a string.
Craft # 4: Kitty Book Mark
This easy. Just stick the print out and put up a ribbon.
Craft # 5: Kitty Candle
Rolled long paper on the candle and placed kitty stickers on it
Craft # 6: Kitty Coloring Book
Kids were asked to color on the first page and put all pre-printed coloring pages on the ring. Finally decorate with ribbon
Craft # 7: Cloth Peg
I pre-paint the peg in pink color. The girls decorated with buttons and print out.
Craft # 8: Kitty Goodies Bag
this is a free flow drawing of the bag. I made the kids did this while heat up the food. :)
