We bought this play mat at Tesco, RM7.99 for 10 pieces. 2 reasons - to protect Ern from falling by hitting the head, her knee when she crawls and a educational kit (hopefully)
To our disappointment, she doesn't seem to have any interest to crawl or touch the mat. She likes to crawl to places where she can hold on something, stand up and cruise. Weird kiddo!
Btw, Ern started to crawl on her knee few weeks ago. Always forgot to post about it.

i bought that for rachel too... and as those mothers commented in my post the other time, after a while rachel chew on the mat... so we just kept it aside... :D
Hmmm...we never had one. I thought of buying when Brae started to walk but then daddykhong malas to clean...adoi!!!

Bryan same like Ern. Not interested to crawl on the mat. Prefer to tear the mat apart and chew on it. So we oso just put it at a corner. Once in a while, bryan will dig out the mat pieces and took out the "puzzle inserts" pieces one by one. So mah fan to pick up after him.
i bought too, but ended up just keep inside the store room as i found that it isn't hygiene when everyone feet just stepped on the mat and somemore it's difficult to clean.
yeah its very good to have these kinda mat, cos kids always climb and walk jiggly. But becareful with the bits and small pieces
actually, Ern likes to flip the side of the map as it creates the "tiak tiak" sound...we never step on it..but i think most likely i will keep it anyway since Ern doesn't show much interest on it...
My boy Dillon is like Rachel & Bryan also, he only likes to take it out piece by piece & chew it. I'm so "tired" to have to rearrange it everytime. Now the mat is resting in my store room.
